We want your first encounter with a Hewly object to feel considered. Sales terms will be confirmed before the store begins taking payments.
The current collection
The site currently presents product concepts and accepts enquiries. Saving a selection or sending a request does not create a purchase. There is no payment to refund at this stage.
Before an order is accepted
The return window, cancellation rules, return address, who pays return postage and the refund process will be disclosed in the final sales terms before payment. Any policy will respect applicable consumer rights. We will not apply unannounced charges or exclusions after a purchase.
Personalised pieces
An inscription changes the object. The final proof, method, location, lead time and any restrictions on change-of-mind returns must be agreed before production. Personalisation does not remove statutory rights for defective or misdescribed goods.
Natural variation
Wood varies in grain and tone. Final listings will explain expected variations and show representative photography. Natural variation is not a reason to dismiss a genuine defect or a material difference from the agreed product.
Looking after walnut
Use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking, dishwashers, direct heat and prolonged sun exposure. Unless a final listing expressly confirms a food-contact finish and intended use, treat the objects as decorative.
