Look at a piece of walnut and you are looking at a record of growth. The lines shift, the colour deepens, and the surface changes as you turn it towards the light.
That variation is why walnut sits at the heart of Hewly. A shape can be repeated; the exact grain cannot.
We develop each form to leave room for those differences. The final wood species, finish and construction will be described for each approved piece. We do not claim a particular origin or certification before it has been confirmed.
